Ever heard of the Big Bang? Theory goes that there was this HUGE collision that blasted the colliding thingamajigs (huh?) to smithereens. But from this collision came the whole universe.
The Big Bang is thought to be a once-in-a-lifetime event. I beg to disagree. I have experienced several Big Bangs in my life. HUGE collisions that smashed me to smithereens (figuratively, most of the time) but has given birth to a whole new universe for me to live in.
My Big Bangs were excruciating, akin to dying a slow death from ant bites while tied to a tree and bathed in honey. Only I didn't have to die (in the literal sense) to be smashed till kingdom come (well, I was... emotionally and psychologically speaking anyway) to be "reborn"
So to all my Big Bangs: thank you for trying to kill me. No matter how many times and how you phrase your words to deny it, that was ultimately what you almost achieved. But what has not killed me has already made me stronger. Here. Feel my muscles. *lol*
Seriously, I would not have known how great life could be if you didn't show me how shitty it could become. Here's to you, my Big Bangs. Cheers!
